Privacy Policy
Last updated · October 2026
NAIA respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit naia.care, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. By using this website, you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are
NAIA ("we", "us", "our") is a fashion-tech platform operated from the Netherlands. You can reach us at info@naia.care for any privacy-related questions.
What information we collect
When you visit naia.care, we may collect the following information:
- Email address, when you sign up for our waitlist or contact us.
- Usage data, pages you visit, time spent, device and browser type, referring URL. This information is collected automatically through analytics tools and is used in aggregated, anonymous form to improve the website.
- If you create an account: your email address (and, if you sign in with Google, the name and picture on your Google account, which NAIA does not show or use), the pieces you save, your size and budget, and your search history, linked to your account.
- What you search for, and what you do with the results: the words you type (for a photo search, only that a photo was used, never the photo itself), the products NAIA showed you, and which of them you open, save or ask for more of. This is stored without your name, IP address or any cookie, and is used to improve NAIA's styling and to learn which pieces people look for.
- Photos you upload are used only to answer that search and are not stored by NAIA.
- Cookies, small data files stored on your device. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Why we collect it
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To send you updates about NAIA when we launch and to respond to your questions.
- To keep your saved pieces, size, budget and searches in your account, on every device where you sign in.
- To analyze how our website is used so we can improve it.
- To track affiliate referrals to our retail partners (see our Affiliate Disclosure for details).
- To meet legal obligations under applicable law.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data based on (a) your consent (e.g., when you join the waitlist or accept cookies), (b) our legitimate interest to operate and improve our website, (c) the agreement with you when you create an account, so we can provide it, and (d) compliance with legal obligations under EU and Dutch law.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with the following service providers, only as needed to operate our service:
- Email service providers (for sending waitlist updates and sign-in codes).
- Supabase, our database and sign-in provider, which stores your account and what is in it.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Analytics providers (for measuring website performance).
- Our AI provider (Anthropic), which reads your search, and your photo if you add one, to put together your look. It does not use them to train its models.
- Affiliate networks and partner retailers (for tracking referral clicks and purchases).
These providers are contractually required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.
How long we keep your data
We retain your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Waitlist email addresses are kept until you ask us to delete them or until the waitlist is closed. Search and click records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.
Your account, and what is in it, is kept until you delete it. On the My NAIA page you can download everything in it, or delete it, at any time. Deleting it removes your profile and saved pieces at once and unlinks your searches, which then remain only as anonymous records.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict processing of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your rights have been violated.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@naia.care.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the updated date at the top.
